When things feel tough, seeking support from a qualified counsellor can help. A safe, confidential and non judgemental space to be listened to. The counsellor is not there to advise or tell you what you should do. They are more like a guide, walking alongside as you take your journey.
Working together we can create a space to find resilience and resourcefulness, to process any trauma and loss. We use sessions to explore what you would like, looking at your unique experiences, thoughts and feelings.
Will counselling help?
Coming to counselling is a brave step in itself. It takes courage to open up and requires honesty with yourself which may feel hard. The relationship between therapist and client is placed at the centre of many therapy models and is often where healing takes place. My priority is to build trust and safety to enable you to discover and talk about your emotions and feelings openly. I work with a genuine desire to see people flourish and thrive and will be genuine and honest. We work at your pace, with what you bring to sessions.
My experience as a counsellor has helped with issues such as OCD, anxiety and depression, relationship issues, identity and sexuality, abuse and trauma, eating disorders, self esteem, childhood difficulties and others.
